US, EU suspended $11.5 bn of tariffs connected to airship subsidy dispute

The US and the European Union have agreed to suspend all taxes forced in relation to a 16-year-old debate over out-of-line appropriations given by the two nations to Boeing and Airbus. The suspension will cover US taxes on $7.5 billion of EU imports, counting wine and jam, and EU obligations on $4 billion of US items, including tobacco and tractors.
