Govt to require import charge on solar-powered modules, cells from Apr 2022

The Indian government is set to force a traditions obligation of 40% on sun-based modules and 25% on sun-powered cells from April 2022, Reuters detailed citing a government record and two sources. The government is allegedly focusing on extending its solar capacity to 280 GW by 2030-31. There’s no traditional obligation on imports of solar cells and modules right now.
